Even while Tony Trocha, the 6-10 post from Colombia, is currently back in his native country, things are happening for the 6-10 post player.
Trocha, who played half the season at Houston (Tex.) St. Thomas Episcopal, and was officially a sophomore, will very likely get his standardized test score within the week, which will enable him to take official visits.
He won't be able to take those visits, however, until he's re-classified as a 2012 recruit, which is also expected shortly.
If he does, then, re-classify from the 2013 to the 2012 class, he'll have a short window of opportunity to take official visits before he's required to return to Colombia for workouts with his national team this summer.
The word is that UCLA, Kentucky, Oregon and Providence are the schools best positioned to receive an official visit.
Providence is involved since head coach Ed Cooley supposedly discovered Trocha before any other high major Division I programs. Providence coaches reportedly were responsible for initiating the idea of Trocha re-classifying to 2012, to limit his exposure.
