McCullough Chooses Syracuse

Chris McCullough

The 2013 class has been in focus for Syracuse basketball recruiting. But the 2014 class got a major commitment as 5-star forward Chris McCullough made his pledge Monday.

According to his high school teammate, Ron Patterson, 2014 5-star Chris McCullough has committed to Syracuse.

Patterson said McCullough spoke to Jim Boeheim earlier today to inform the Syracuse head coach of his decision. Patterson committed to Syracuse on Saturday during his official visit, and that commitment was enough to seal the deal for McCullough.

The 5-star forward confirmed via twitter and text that he chose Syracuse.

"They were showing me the most love," McCullough told

The 9th rated prospect in 2014 chose Syracuse over Florida, Kansas, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Rutgers, St. John's, and several other schools.

He is the fourth commitment in the last three weeks for the Orange. Recommended Stories
