Tons of movement as the top team in the conference in knocked off
1.
Stanford
(9-2, 6-2)
We have a new team at the top after the Cardinal shocked
Oregon
in Eugene. If they can beat
UCLA
this week at the Rose Bowl, the Cardinal will host the Pac 12 title game against those same Bruins next week.
2. Oregon (10-1, 7-1)
Goodbye national title hopes in Eugene. For the second straight year, the Ducks lost a home game in November, dashing their national title hopes. If they don't beat
Oregon State
on Saturday, their Rose Bowl hopes are gone as well.
3. UCLA (9-2, 6-2)
There is a changing of the guard in Los Angeles as the Bruins took down
USC
. They're the Pac 12 South champs for the second year in a row and will try to get to 10 wins and stake their claim as the conference's best when Stanford comes to town this Saturday.
4. Oregon State (8-2, 6-2)
The Beavers put a hurt on Cal and will look to knock off Oregon and put a claim on the Pac 12 North title.
5.
Arizona
(7-4, 4-4)
The Wildcats won their first road game of the season by knocking off
Utah
. Ka'Deem Carey ran wild against as
Matt Scott
returned. Now they'll face rival
Arizona State
in a game with bowl implications.
6. USC (7-4, 5-4)
The nightmare season continued as USC fell to UCLA. With
Notre Dame
on the schedule next, a 5 loss regular season is a strong possibility.
7.
Washington
(7-4, 5-3)
The Huskies breezed through
Colorado
and will look to get to 8 wins on Friday against lowly Wazzu.
8. Arizona State (6-5, 4-4)
The Sun Devils are now bowl eligible after beating up on
Washington State
. They'll look for their seventh win against Arizona on Friday.
9. Utah (4-7, 2-6)
Year 2 in the Pac 12 has been a tough one as the Utes lost to Arizona and won't go bowling for the first time since 2002. They'll play for pride on Friday against Colorado.
10. Cal (3-9, 2-7)
That should do it for the
Jeff Tedford
era after getting smashed by Oregon State. When we look back at this season, we'll wonder not how Cal beat UCLA, but how they beat them by 26 points. Will Gary Anderson be the coach here next year?
11. Washington State (2-9, 0-8)
Washington State fell to Arizona State and now has to knock off Washington in their finale to avoid a winless conference season.
12. Colorado (1-10, 1-7)
Only one more game to go in one of the worst seasons ever by a BCS team after getting lit up by Arizona State. If Colorado wants more than one win this season, they'll have to knock off Utah.
