Woods decision on the way

USC junior receiver Robert Woods is set to announce if he'll be turning pro or returning for his senior season on New Year's Eve following the Sun Bowl.

EL PASO, Texas — One way or the other, Robert Woods will have much more to celebrate when he rings in 2013 than just the new year.

USC's all-time receptions leader will announce Monday following the Trojans' final game of the season his decision to turn pro or return to Troy his senior year.

Woods, who is second on the team behind Marqise Lee with 73 catches for 813 yards and 11 touchdowns, is thought to be heavily favoring making himself available for April's NFL draft.

"I haven't thought about these practices as my last ones out here," Woods said during bowl-week practices in El Paso. "I'm enjoying this bowl experience with my team now and I'm just trying to have fun and make the best out of this trip."

Since falling short of expectations which led to a disappointing 7-5 season, Woods says he feels at peace with how it all played out and says his only focus is the final game of the season.

"You've got to let it go," he said. "Can't do anything about it now, at the moment when we had the losses it was rough, but we've got one more game to play."

Enjoy it, Trojan fans. It may be his last.
