Radio: 2014 DE Nifae Lealao Talks Stanford

The 6-5, 270-pound DE Lealao

At 6-foot-5, Sacramento's Nifae Lealao is a physical specimen who has a potential future in Division 1 football and basketball. He wants to play both at the next level, and he has called Stanford a "dream school" in the past.

Nifae Lealao recorded 87 tackles, six sacks, four blocked punts, three blocked field goals, two pass deflections, and a fumble recovery as a 2011 junior at Sacramento's Capital Christian High School. Needless to say (his high school tape proves as much), Lealao can explode off the line of scrimmage and terrorize opposing backfields, so he fits the Stanford mold.

"Stanford is always high on the priority list," Lealao said before asserting that he wants his college choice to be a "lifetime decision" that will allow him to study International Business to help him jump-start his own clothing line.

Lealao is also interested in playing basketball at the next level, and David Shaw has reminded him that Johnny Dawkins can always use more big men. Much of the Pac-12 is after the Sacramento product, though Stanford appears to be in excellent position early in the process. Enjoy the radio interview.
