Caldwell County had a great season this past year behind the play of sophomore quarterback Elijah Sindelar. Sindelar's great play hasn't gone unnoticed by coaches at the next level either.

Caldwell County had a great season this past year behind the play of sophomore quarterback Elijah Sindelar. Sindelar's great play hasn't gone unnoticed by coaches at the next level either.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound sophomore recently had a chance to talk with Kentucky offensive coordinator Neal Brown.

"It went real well," Sindelar said of the visit with Brown. "I like how UK runs a spread offense. I like hearing that they were putting money into the football program to make it better," he continued.

Sindelar, who threw for nearly 3000 yards and 32 touchdowns this year, has heard from several schools aside from Kentucky, including UCLA, Louisville and Florida State. He's been invited to campa at Alabama, Auburn and Ohio State. But Kentucky will definitely continue to recruit the Western Kentucky quarterback.

"I think Coach Brown is a good guy and I look forward to talking with him more," Sindelar finished.

FOX Sports Next will keep you posted on Elijah Sindelar's recruitment as it develops.
