The Ball is in Stevens' Court

Brad Stevens

After a week of clandestine discussions, UCLA has offered Brad Stevens the UCLA head coaching job...

Butler Head Coach Brad Stevens has been offered the UCLA job and been given terms of a contract, according to sources.

We've heard that UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero has focused on Stevens all week. We don't know if Guerrero met with Stevens face to face, while some reports are that he did. We do know that Guerrero was on a plane earlier this week. There were reports he was on a flight last night (Thursday night), but those reports are false.

Reliable sources have told us that UCLA has officially given Stevens their terms.

As of Friday, it's in Stevens's court to decide whether he'll take the job or not.

We don't know the terms of the contract UCLA offered Stevens, but have heard that UCLA is prepared to offer up to $3 million per year.
