The four-star wide receiver that got invited to The Opening recently visited a Pac 12 school and he liked what he saw at the school over 2,000 miles away.

Many more schools are still under consideration, but how long will it be until that changes?
"I am going to narrow it down soon, very soon. I am going get it down to around 10 schools, but I am not going to announce it to the public and make a big deal about it. I am just going to keep it to myself for now. I will be getting schools down to a much smaller number soon though."
It will likely happen in July, but once July ends, Malone may be closing in on another cut.
That could happen before summer ends.
"I will probably get to five [schools] after I cut it down to 10, take a few more visits, and then figure out where I am going to take my five official visits to. I am going get down to that around the beginning of the season."
"Florida State, Clemson, Kentucky, and LSU are schools I am looking to visit in July," said Malone. "It is a lot, but I am trying to squeeze a lot in this summer so I can move forward in the recruiting process."
Malone will take his five official visits before he commits to someone after his senior season ends and he is not ruling out an unofficial visit or two to another school during the season too.
He just wants to be needed and know that his future is taken care of.
"The school just has to prove to me that my position is one of need," he said. "They have to be real with me and not just filling my head with dreams. I want the coaches to show me that they are honest and that a degree from that school can carry a lot of weight. I want to be able to use that degree and connections from that school to flourish in my career after football."
