Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian linebacker Eddie Rudinski (6-3, 210), has a dozen offers but he camped this week with the two local schools in hopes of adding them to the mix.

"UCLA and USC both wanted to see me in camp so I went out there to do my thing and we'll see what happens," said Rudinski.

Rudinski was at UCLA on Wednesday evening for the Bruin Elite Camp.

"I had a great time working with Coach (Jeff) Ulbrich and the rest of the staff at UCLA," said Rudinski. "I got a chance to speak with Coach (Jim) Mora as well and they both said they will be watching me this year."

Rudinski camped with USC on Wednesday and was back again on Thursday for Rising Stars.

"USC went really well," said Rudinski. "They put me in the top group and we were all working and the linebacker coach was watching us. They had 3-4 other schools there too and they had all offered me already."

Cal Poly, Colorado, Idaho, Montana State, Nevada, San Diego State, San Jose State, Utah State, Washington, Washington State, Wyoming and Yale have all offered the three-star.

Last weekend, he visited Washington, the first school he's visited out of the area.

"I went up there and saw the campus and talked with the coaches," said Rudinski. "The Washington campus was beautiful. The facilities are all renovated and the stadium is unreal. There was nothing bad about it."

Rudinski is getting attention from a number of coaches at Washington.

"They all literally send me mail," said Rudinski. "But the main coaches recruiting me are Coach (Bob) Gregory, Coach (Brent) Pease and Coach Pete (Chris Petersen)."

Vanderbilt could be close to offering Rudinski too.

"They called my coach the other day and they had just found out about me," said Rudinski. "They said they had offered a couple of other linebackers, but if they don't commit within a certain time frame, they're going to offer me."

A couple of other Pac-12 schools have been involved too.

"I've been in touch with Cal and I know they're very interested and Oregon State has hit me up," said Rudinski.

Rudinski said all of his attention is coming as a linebacker, with the majority looking at him outside.

"Vanderbilt is recruiting me as an inside linebacker, but everyone else is as an outside linebacker," said Rudinski.

Rudinski didn't want to name a top group of schools yet because he's waiting to see how the summer shakes out.

"I don't want to name a top five yet because I'm sure other offers will roll in," said Rudinski. Recommended Stories
