Maciah Long is being recruited by most schools as an athlete. He can play just about any position on the field on either side of the ball. Outside linebacker, wide receiver, quarterback or running back are a few positions you will find Maciah Long playing over the next two high school football seasons.
"I think the recruiting process is a great experience for me, and it's a great feeling to be wanted by the colleges," Long said. "I believe they love my game because I'm a flexible player. I can play pretty much any position on the field."
Long likes what Charlie Strong brings to the table.
"I like Texas a lot," Long said. "Coach Strong is a great coach. My recruiting coach is coach [Chris] Vaughn, and we have a good relationship. I will make my decision after my senior football season."
North Shore Sr. High School is loaded with talent. In addition to Long, North Shore Sr. has running back Tristian Houston, offensive linemen Tyler Moore and Safety Eric Monroe to name a few but Long knows it's a team game.
"It's not just us who are the team," Long said. "It's all the other guys that help us reach our full potential."
