Aaron Ware, 6-0, 190, Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian, verbally committed to the UCLA staff Saturday during Junior Day on campus.

It was confirmed by his father, Bernie Ware.

Aaron, of course, is the younger brother of Matt Ware, the UCLA cornerback who is foregoing his senior season to enter the NFL draft this spring. He is also the son of two Bruin alumni, Bernie and Julie, so it was thought to be inevitable that Aaron would continue the legacy at UCLA.

Ware plays both running back and cornerback, and he had indicated in the past that it's "50-50" where he could play in college. He had said that Head Coach Karl Dorrell agreed with Ware, and that he would come to UCLA as an athlete and have his position determined later.

Ware is considered one of the best athletes in Southern California this year, rushing for 1,700 yards and 24 touchdowns last season as a junior.
