Raymond Carter, the 6-0, 195-pound running back from Los Angeles Crenshaw, is considered one of the best running backs in the west for 2007.
Carter was limited in his senior season, missing two full games and part of a third due to a groin injury. Crenshaw, also, wasn't primary a rushing team this season.
He finished with 893 yards rushing and six touchdowns on 140 attempts (6.4 average) as a senior. As a junior, rushed for 1,650 yards and 13 touchdowns.
