Jonathan Martin, the 6-7 270-pound offensive lineman from North Hollywood (Calif.) Harvard-Westlake, has verbally committed to UCLA.

Martin also had scholarship offers from has offers from Utah, Utah State and Ole Miss. Cal had also been recruiting Martin seriously and were most likely about to offer also.

UCLA offered Martin two weeks ago.

UCLA needs offensive tackles, and Martin looks to fill that need. He's the first offensive line commitment in the class of 2008, and the 15th commitment overall.
