Quarterback Patrick Cowan didn't practice Wednesday, and Head Coach Karl Dorrell talked about why after practice. The depth chart is getting thin at defensive tackle, and a true freshman could get his first start as a Bruin...

Quarterback Pat Cowan didnt practice today. Head Coach Karl Dorrell attributed it to fatigue, but he is expected to practice tomorrow and play on Saturday.

Christian Taylor definitely will not play and Kyle Bosworth has been getting the snaps at middle linebacker, moving over from the strongside spot.

Defensive tackle Brigham Harwell is most likely out for Saturday.

Defensive tackle Jerzy Siewierski didn't participate in team drills but it's believed he'llbe able to play on Saturday.

Freshman DT Brian Price spent most of practice running with the 1s.

Defensive end Tom Blake didn't practice with a contusion on his knee and is uncertain for Saturday.

McLeod Bethel-Thompson and Chris Forcier got most of the quarterback reps today with Cowan out.

Marcus Everett is doubtful with the high ankle sprain, and speculation is he could be sidelined for the year.

The receiver depth chart is getting thin, so Jamil Turner and Ryan Graves both saw significant snaps today.
