Tony Jefferson from Eastlake High in Chula Vista, Calif., Scout.com's No. 11 ranked OLB, who perhaps is more of a safety/running back prospect, told SCPlaybook back in July he had verbally committed to USC earlier in the year, but no longer had interest in the Trojans. He then verbally committed to UCLA later in the month, but that commitment has been in question for quite some time. Full Story

Conner Preston from Serra High in Gardena, Calif., has had one of the most impressive seasons of any quarterback in southern California. He's completed 142 of his 204 attempts (only six interceptions) and thrown for 2,393 yards, and 30 touchdowns. Not many recruiting fanatics have heard of Serra junior defensive end Jason Gibson, but he's quietly accumulated offers from UCLA, Tennessee, Stanford, Washington, Washington State, Arizona and Arizona State. Serra junior wide receiver has been a huge weapon for Cavalier quarterback Conner Preston this season and has 29 receptions for 631 yards and nine touchdowns. He has two fewer receptions this year than last year, but more yards and more touchdowns. Plus Serra added four-star wide receiver Paul Richardson to the team, and he's also been productive with 27 catches for 516 yards and six touchdowns. Full Story
