| Carter has good quickness and ability to read the holes. Has elusive speed, turning the extra gear on when needed. Has a nice frame to add more weight to and as he gets stronger, will have an easier time breaking tackles. |
| Biography: |
Carter is considered one of the best running back prospects in Southern California in the 2007 class. He has good size and is still a bit lanky, but has the body to fill out, with good speed and explosion. He's a north-south guy, who finds the hole and tries to get up field quickly. Older brother Dajuan Cofield is a cornerback at Palisades (Calif.), where Carter played as a freshman. Last fall Carter helped lead Crenshaw to the L.A. City Championship in 2005, rushing for 1,675 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also runs track, and was a state finalist in the 100m as a junior.
