Biography:

A fifth-year senior, Asi Faoa (6-4, 275) is the Bruins top reserve at defensive end. Coming off the bench in 2002 (with one start against Oregon), Faoa recorded 23 tackles including a pair of sacks and 3 tackles for loss. This year, Faoa figures to compete with Mat Ball for the starting job opposite Dave Ball. Faoa will also participate on most of the Bruin special teams units.
