| Biography: |
| One of the premier CB's in the nation, Matt Ware (6-3, 213) has started all 24 games he has been in a Bruin uniform. Ware spent the beginning of 2002 at free safety, but the emergence of Jarrad Page allowed him to move back corner. Ware recorded 51 tackles, 1 sack and 2 tackles for loss, plus an interception. As a freshman in 2001, he was a consensus First Team Freshman All-American, and was named by Sporting News as the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year. Ware could also see some time on offense, at both receiver and QB. |
