Huskers offer JUCO DE

It seemed like just a matter of time before some offers to junior college players would trickle out from the Nebraska staff. The latest one was offered today to this top defensive end.

Nebraska has recently offered three-star junior college defensive end Takkarist McKinley from San Pablo (Calif.) Contra Costa. The offer from Nebraska was reported first by Greg Biggins from Scout.com.

On June 30th, the 6-foot-4 and 230-pound defensive end announced his top 10. Here is the list that McKinley released on Twitter:

There is clearly a need for immediate contributors at the defensive end position for Nebraska. The Huskers can clearly sell junior college transfer being productive at the defensive end spot using Randy Gregory as a clear example.

BigRedReport.com will catch up with McKinley to see if the offer from the Huskers can cause any movement on his top 10 list.
